Iron/Steel ladle:

SFR can offer insulation material, thermal calculation, lining design of ladle, help to reduce heat loss during transportation, minimize temperature drop. Increase casting quality and energy-efficiency.
◎ ULTRA-FLO® 85 is high alumina based castable designed for iron/steel ladle under various conditions, anti-slag, low tendency of crack. Good performance in 0.5T to 25T ladles. Other options like ULTRA-FLO® 61, ULTRA-FLO® 51, ULTRA-FLO® 49 etc, can be selected depends on each application.
◎ ALU-PAK® 67, ALU-SEAL® 68 or other plastic/plaster from SFR as repair material for ladles, can increase slag resistance and service life for ladle significantly.
◎ LADLE SEAL, MAG-SEAL® 813 and other coating material is suggested for daily maintenance.

Coating material
Metal and slag are bonded to the wall usually.
Cleaning will not only waste a lot of labor and time, but also cause damage to the lining. Apply coating material can help to reduce de-slag frequency:
◆ Reduce the labor cost;
◆ Reduce mechanical wear and impact on the lining;
◆ Extend the service life.
