SIL-RAM 121ZN is a silica-based, dry-vibrated refractory designed for the melting of copper alloys in coreless induction furnaces and is suitable for both continuous and batch smelting operations. It is formulated using high-quality, high-purity quartz sand as the primary raw material, with a high proportion of electrofused quartz sand added to ensure outstanding volumetric stability. Through precise control of particle-size distribution and binder dosage, the material effectively resists erosion, scouring, and penetration by molten zinc, while maintaining a well-structured, loose backing layer that enhances the overall safety and performance of the furnace lining.
