ULTRA-CAST 300AR is a high-strength refractory castable designed for use as an impermeable lining at the hearth and as a backer for the side walls of aluminum melting and holding furnaces. Made primarily from high-alumina materials and formulated with an aluminum-nonstick additive, this material exhibits excellent resistance to aluminum adhesion, dimensional stability, and high-temperature strength.
