SIL-RAM 165CR is designed as a working lining material for coreless induction furnaces, primarily used for melting gray iron, ductile iron, and various ferroalloys; it can also serve as a lining material for high-temperature nonferrous metal smelting. The product is formulated using high-quality, high-purity quartz sand as the primary raw material, with strict control over particle-size distribution and binder dosage, to resist erosion and scouring by molten iron while maintaining a well-developed loose backing layer that enhances the overall safety and performance of the furnace lining.
