ULTRA-CAST 65SIC

ULTRA-CAST® 65SiC is a silicon carbide–corundum-based low-cement castable refractory material that exhibits outstanding wear resistance, an exceptionally high thermal conductivity, excellent resistance to aluminum adhesion, and superior thermal-shock resistance. It is specifically designed for applications in the aluminum-processing industry where high wear resistance, high thermal conductivity, and significant temperature fluctuations are required, such as at aluminum furnace tapping spouts, stirring wells, and transfer ladles.
