ULTRA-FLO 49

LTRA-FLO 49 is a low-moisture, low-cement alumina–silica castable designed for equipment in contact with both nonferrous and ferrous metals, as well as for numerous applications requiring excellent thermal insulation. It is specifically formulated for use in industrial furnace linings, including ladle linings, tundish linings, coreless induction furnace top blocks, furnace mouth shaping blocks, furnace roofs, hearth platforms, and the flat surfaces of annealing furnace carriages. This product exhibits outstanding dimensional stability and thermal insulation performance, making it ideally suited for applications that demand minimal temperature drop during service and superior heat retention. It is manufactured using high-purity alumina–silica raw materials as the primary constituents, resulting in a low-cement castable with excellent workability, high strength, and exceptional resistance to thermal shock.
