ALU-RAM 135CU is a dry-vibrated refractory material designed for coreless induction furnaces used to melt various copper alloys, suitable for both mold-furnace and mold-exit melting applications. It is formulated with high-quality high-alumina raw materials as the primary constituents, with the addition of electrically fused quartz sand to enhance its volumetric stability. Through precise control of particle-size distribution and binder selection, the material effectively resists erosion, scouring, and penetration by molten copper, while maintaining a well-structured, loose backing layer that enhances the overall safety and performance of the furnace lining.
