Plastic Repair Material

The mud material is available in a clay-bisque form or as irregular lumps, maintaining good plasticity and adhesion for a certain period. It can be applied by hand smearing or by beating with a rubber mallet. Due to its simple application and excellent plasticity and adhesion, it is particularly well suited for repair work.

ALU-PAK series of various plastic materials for repair

ALU-PAK 67/85/90 is designed as a coreless induction furnace lining material for melting molten iron and various non-ferrous alloys, and is also recommended for repairing worn areas in the furnace lining and ladle lining. It exhibits excellent workability, as well as outstanding slag resistance and corrosion resistance.

ALU-PAK® 72/72CR/73CR/78CR/79CR is designed for repairing the lining and wear-prone areas of coreless induction furnaces used for melting molten steel, high-temperature molten iron, and various nonferrous alloys, and can also be used as a material for the furnace mouth of coreless induction furnaces. The use of an ultra-low-phosphorus binder helps prevent phosphorus enrichment in the molten steel caused by the refractory material.

ALU-PAK 82AR is designed as a plastic repair material for the aluminum processing industry. It can be used to repair linings of aluminum melting and holding furnaces, aluminum flow channels, degassing boxes, and other components. It offers excellent workability and outstanding resistance to aluminum adhesion.
