STEEL-RAM 92S is lining material for coreless induction furnaces, mainly used to melt high manganese steel, high temperature carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel. STEEL-RAM 92S uses high purity corundum as the main raw material and adds a high proportion of magnesium oxide.The hot surface will form a dense sintered layer of aluminum magnesium spinel at high temperatures during use. Compared with other aluminum-magnesium spinel materials, It has rather thick sintered layer, meanwhile the lining maintains a good loose layer on the backing to resist corrosion and flush by molten steel, and improves the safety performance of the overall furnace lining.

STEEL-RAM 88 uses high purity fused corundum as the main raw material, and adds a certain proportion of magnesium oxide. The hot surface will form a dense sintered layer of aluminum magnesium spinel at high temperatures during use ,which can resist the erosion and flush of molten steel, meanwhile the lining maintains a good loose layer to improve the safety performance of the overall furnace lining.
